We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Officer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive medical care to outpatients and oversee routine inpatient cases.
• Accurately diagnose and manage common health issues, ensuring prompt patient care.
• Perform various laboratory tests, including those for typhoid, syphilis, HIV, HCG, and blood glucose levels.
• Assist in minor surgical tasks, such as wound management and abscess drainage.
• Maintain precise patient records and data management using Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) and other digital platforms.
• Engage in health education programs to elevate community health awareness.
• Administer vaccinations for children and adults according to national health protocols.
• Foster continuous professional growth through training and mentoring of junior healthcare personnel.
• Adhere to clinical standards, ethical guidelines, and proper documentation practices.
• Collaborate in scheduling staff duties and enhancing team coordination.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong diagnostic capabilities and laboratory proficiency.
• Bilingual in English and Luganda, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining clinical standards and professional ethics.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and teamwork skills.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with ultrasound imaging.
• Knowledge of MS Office, HMIS, and business management software like Odoo.
